These two lovely ladies had such a great time together, they barely noticed the chilly San Francisco wind.
Molly Monday
I have a pet guinea pig. There... I said it! I know this is somewhat unusual for someone my age (which will remain unmentioned...) but I fully embrace it. So does the boyfriend. We treat her like she's our little furry daughter and I'm pretty sure she thinks she's a human child because of it.
If you happen to read my personal blog, you probably know about Molly's shenanigans. Before Molly came into my life, I had no idea guinea pigs could be such good pets. This little lady does tricks, follows us around the apartment (she's litter trained), and understands basic words like "treat" and "berry." She also recognizes her own name and comes when she's called ... sometimes. She can be a bit stubborn. But despite the fact that I'm 95% convinced she's a genius, she still does things like chew our living room carpet. Just for fun. All the chew toys and treats in the world and she chooses to destroy our living room carpet. Boy, I tell ya, kids these days...

Engaged | Jennifer & Darren
For their engagement session, Jennifer wanted to create a Boy Meets Girl story with the photos. Girl sits alone in a coffee shop reading her book. Boy walks by and, despite all the busy-ness around him, he's immediately drawn to Girl. Boy buys Girl a cup of coffee. Girl makes Boy laugh. The two fall in love and the rest is history.
But in shooting the photos for the fictional story, I realized Jennifer and Darren have a true love all their own. They have a love that's real and palpable. It manifests itself in the way Darren brushes Jennifer's hair from her face, or the way Jennifer quietly strokes Darren's arm. I can't help but smile when I'm around these two and I'm honored to tell the story of such an exciting time in their lives. I can't wait for the next chapter - their sweet wedding in just a few short months.
